1. Synthetic Fibre is a man-made fibre made in industries using chemical process.
2. It is also called as artificial fibre.
3. These fibres are extracted from coal, petroleum, and natural gas.
4. The common examples of synthetic fibres are, Rayon, Nylon, Polyester, and Acrylic.
5. Rayon is obtained from wood pulp, which used to make ropes, tyres, carpets, clothes and etc.,
6. Nylon is obtained from silk and wool, which used to make ropes, fishing nets, parachutes, fabrics, and etc.,
7. Polyester is obtained from petroleum products, which used to make hoses, bottles, wires, fabrics and so on.,
8. Acrylic is obtained from wool products, which used to make shawls, sweaters, and blankets.
9. Synthetic fibres does not wrinkled easily, which is more durable and dries easily.
10. It is more cost effective than natural fibres.
